ARCHITECT + DESIGNER + OWNER
Rachel Pfister has impressed clients in both small and large commercial and residential firms over her career, the last fifteen which have been focused in Hawaii. She started District Architecture + Design in the summer of 2014 and has a passion for developing retail, hospitality, salons, restaurants and bars, churches and offices spaces. Her unique ability to take the personality of a brand or business and translate it in to design is incomparable. Rachel and her team truly cares that each of her clients is content with the process, timing, results, and sustainability of the design.

STYLE LOFT
District took a generic shell space and crafted a stunning salon for the owners of Style Loft. The design touts hints of gold and brass with a modern and classy vibe touched with sleek woods and lighting that will make these salon clients look as sophisticated as the new space. A Yelp reviewer likened it to a “high end salon in New York,” while another called the space “modern, minimal, Zen, open, and unpretentious.” This salon is definitely warm and inviting, yet modern and fresh.
